Dr. P. Gururaja Bhat published his magnum opus “Studies in Tuluva History and Culture” in 1975. In this indelible work, Dr. Bhat has discussed the findings over two decades of his research into the history and culture of Tulunadu from prehistoric times to modern period. The sheer numbers are staggering - 550 pages of deep analysis aided by more than 1670 photos. It is a book in its own class in that it addresses each and every aspect of Tuluva history, and stands to this day as a barometer of what a research book should be.
